Quality Suites Lansing West

I really liked this place for the money. The staff was very kind, accommodating, and efficient. The rooms were clean, the shower was hot, and the beds were comfortable. As pullout couches go, these ones were decent as well. The carpet even still had some life in it as far as the feel on the toes, unlike most hotels. Was a stain that staff could probably get out easily, although rest looked in good condition. Overall, awesome time. There's a gravel area on side of paved lot that's perfect for towing and larger vehicles, could fit like 3 trucks with a trailer on the edge (maybe one tractor trailer and a truck/trailer combo) and still have plenty of room for flow of traffic and access to parking spaces. Didn't wake up in time for breakfast, but I bet its at least on par with most, judging by the rest of the experience. They did provide a late check out of noon, which was awesome because we didn't even get here until about 2am.

I booked a room and couldn't make it due to unforseen circumstances. I hope for maybe a partial refund, but Manager Abigail didn't owe me anything and refunded my money in full anyway. That's unexpectedly great service that made a big difference. Thanks Abigail!

Originally picked them to stay at while visiting but went to another place instead. I truly regreted after seeing my nephews room. It was clean and everything seemed new. There were a few spots on the sofa but this place was great compared to the dump I stayed in. But, now I know better! Quality Suits it will be for me in the future.

The only issue we had was that our room smelled like a 1950s smoker's house. Even though the hotel is non-smoking, whoever was there last must have been a heavy smoker because the odor was thick. We were only there for one night, so we just managed through it by running the bathroom exhaust fan all night. Besides this, our stay was fine. The staff was great and the breakfast was superb.

This place is quiet, clean, and priced the best. The staff is AmAZinG! Breakfast bar was clean and fresh! I love the options. Way to go Quality Suites!

Great stay at the Lansing Quality Suites as usual, but the breakfast is definitely not the same. I hadn’t visited the area in a while to be able to stay at the hotel, and so I wasn’t aware of the changes. I was used to having made to order breakfast prepared as it has been for years. Now the hot food served is just like every other hotel (normal continental breakfast items, waffles, microwaved eggs and sausage patties). I also miss the home made Quaker oatmeal they used to have already prepared when I came down for breakfast. This time I had to pick what flavor oatmeal packets I wanted for the breakfast associate to heat up in the microwave behind the counter. Don’t get me wrong, the spacious rooms and good customer service is still there. The hearty breakfast is what made me reserve this hotel for so many years, but I may have to explore other options when visiting the Lansing area in the future. Tom is definitely missed for sure!

We specifically choice this hotel to stay in as we had been here three years ago and enjoyed the experience. This hotel gives the vibes of a higher priced high end hotel at a budget price of under $100 for a mini suite. I did knock off one star for the overall experience this time. Previous visits the included breakfast was much more restaurant-like, with eggs and omelets made to order, lots more breakfast food choices and regular tableware. I was disappointed this visit to find the typical carb laden breads, cereals, and only scrambled eggs, (not fresh from the shell eggs either) and sauasage patties, and soggy tater tots served on styro plates. The hot coffee and lemon water available in the lobby at all hours is a nice touch. The rooms are large and comfortable with a sliding door between the sleeping and "living" area for privacy if wanted. If you are looking for a very clean, pet friendly, budget priced mini suite rooms hotel, this is a good choice.

Some of our group stayed at the Crowne Plaza, but we were at Quality Suites. The room was huge. Very nice sitting area. The shower was slippery, could use a rubber mat and handicap rail. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was AWESOME
